  1. 2 Grant from Minneapolis Public Schools for Urban Scholars Program (2018-01109)
    1. Accepting a grant from Minneapolis Public Schools, in the amount of $1,500, for the Urban Scholars program.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation funds to the Civil Rights Equity Division.

  2. 3 Commission on Civil Rights appointments (2018-01157)

    Confirming the following Mayoral appointments to fill unexpired three-year terms, ending Dec 31, 2020: Marcel Thompson, Seat 1, Ward 6; and Cassandra Shepherd, Seat 4, Ward 13.

  3. 4 Agreement with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to host Public Health Associates (2018-01149)

    Authorizing an agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to host two staff from the Public Health Associates Program in the Minneapolis Health Department for a two-year period beginning Oct 1, 2018. 

  4. 5 Grant from Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for environmental services (2018-01167)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), in the amount of $50,000 for a three-year period, to ensure a healthier and more environmentally just nail care industry in Minneapolis by improving the health and safety of the industry workforce.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  5. 6 Community Participation Program (CPP) Grievance Policy revisions (2018-01150)

    Approving revisions to the Community Participation Program (CPP) Grievance Policy. 

  6. 7 Collaborative Safety Strategies Program funding (2018-00709)

    Amending Council Action 2018A-0489 relating to the contract with Indigenous Roots, in the amount of $80,640, to conduct outreach activities and provide support to the Lake Street area and other areas of Minneapolis for people experiencing homelessness.

  7. 8 Domestic Violence Awareness Month honorary resolution (2018-01165)

    Passage of Resolution recognizing October 2018 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
