    Authorizing a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Edina for the asphalt paving and striping of 54th St W from France Ave S to Zenith Ave S.

  2. 3 Biennial Routine Maintenance Agreement between the City of Minneapolis and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (2021-00551)

    Passage of Resolution authorizing the Biennial Routine Maintenance Agreement between the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation and the City of Minneapolis, effective July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.

  3. 4 Whittier International Elementary School Safe Routes to School Project: Grant acceptance from Minnesota Department of Transportation (2021-00552)

    Passage of Resolution authorizing acceptance of a grant from the State of Minnesota through the Department of Transportation, in the amount of $300,000, for the Safe Routes to School Project near Whittier International Elementary School at the intersections of 26th St W and Grand Ave; 27th St W and Blaisdell Ave; and 28th St W and Pleasant Ave; and authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the grant.

  4. 5 Sidewalk repair and construction assessments (2021-00553)

    Setting a public hearing for July 14, 2021, to consider the assessment charges for sidewalk repair and construction that remain unpaid.

  5. 6 Snow and ice removal from public sidewalks assessments (2021-00556)

    Setting a public hearing for July 28, 2021, to consider the assessment charges for snow and ice removal from public sidewalks that remain unpaid.

  6. 7 Stormwater Management Program and Annual Report (2021-00567)

    Setting a public hearing for June 9, 2021, to receive public comments regarding the City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater Management Program and Annual Report.

  7. 8 8th St SE Street Reconstruction and Street Lighting: Rescinding previous actions, project designation, cost estimate and setting public hearing (2021-00568)
    1. Passage of Resolution rescinding various official acts relating to the 8th St SE Street Reconstruction and Street Lighting Project, Special Improvement Project No. 2283.

    2. Passage of Resolution designating the location and improvements proposed to be made in the 8th St SE Street Reconstruction and Street Lighting Project, Special Improvement Project No. 2283.

    3. Adopting report receiving the cost estimate in the amount of $1,408,543 for the street reconstruction portion of the project and $178,281 for the street lighting portion of the project, directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefitted properties, and setting a public hearing for July 14, 2021, to consider the project and assessments.
  8. 9 Truck parking ordinance (2019-00855)

    Setting a public hearing for June 23, 2021, to consider an ordinance amending Title 18, Chapter 478 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Traffic Code: Parking, Stopping and Standing, amending provisions related to parking of overweight vehicles and commercial vehicles.

  9. 10 Grant application to National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) Pandemic Response and Recovery Grant for the 18th Ave S and Little Earth Transportation Study (2021-00569)

    Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), in the amount of $50,000, for a Pandemic Response and Recovery Grant to support the 18th Ave S and Little Earth Transportation Study.

  10. 11 Grant applications for 2021 Minnesota Department of Transportation Metro Local Partnership Program (2021-00570)

    Authorizing the submission of a series of grant applications for federal transportation funds through the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s 2021 Local Partnership Program.

  11. 12 George Floyd Remembrance Block Event Permit: May 25, 2021 (2021-00587)

    Approving application of Jacari Harris of The George Floyd Memorial Foundation, Inc. for a large block event permit to allow the celebration of life and remembrance for George Floyd to be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  12. 13 Bid for rental of motor grader units (2021-00571)

    Accepting the sole bid of RDO Equipment Company, submitted on Event No. 1444, in an estimated annual amount of $160,000, to furnish and deliver all labor, materials, and incidentals for the rental of motor grader units to the City of Minneapolis Public Works Fleet Services Division, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, all in accordance with City specifications.

  13. 14 Bid for 2021 Large Diameter Cured-in-Place Pipe Project (2021-00572)

    Accepting the low bid of Granite Inliner LLC, submitted on Event No. 1446, in the amount of $773,371, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the 2021 Large Diameter Cured-in-Place Pipe Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  14. 15 Bid for 2021 Sanitary Sewer Televising Project (2021-00573)

    Accepting the low bid of Vortech Hydro Vac Incorporated, submitted on Event No. 1447, in the amount of $185,485.80, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the 2021 Sanitary Sewer Televising Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  15. 16 Bid for Cleaning and Lining Water Mains Project (2021-00581)

    Accepting the low bid of Michels Corporation, submitted on Event No. 1467, in the amount of $2,319,500, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Cleaning and Lining of Water Mains Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
