  1. 2 Traffic Signal Construction Project: Appropriation increase (2018-01128)

    1. Authorizing acceptance of $555,252 from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the reconstruction of six signalized intersections on State Trunk Highway 47 (University Ave NE) and Trunk Highway 65 (Central Ave).

    2. Passage of Resolution appropriating funds to the Public Works Department.

  2. 3 License agreement with Minneapolis Park Board for traffic signal easement (2018-01146)

    Authorizing a license agreement with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board for a traffic signal easement at the southwest corner of the intersection at University Ave NE and Central Ave NE (Ard Godfrey property) in conjunction with the reconstruction of six signalized intersections on State Trunk Highway 47 (University Ave NE) and Trunk Highway 65 (Central Ave).

  3. 4 Contract amendment with Diversified Infrastructure Services, Inc. for small diameter sanitary sewer cleaning construction change orders (2018-01129)

    Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-43454 (Official Publication No. 8504) with Diversified Infrastructure Services, Inc., in the amount of $440,583.30, for a new contract total of $881,186.60, for construction change orders to complete the cleaning of the small diameter sanitary sewer system.

  4. 5 Contract amendment with Diversified Infrastructure Services, Inc. for large diameter sanitary sewer cleaning construction change orders (2018-01126)

    Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-43733 (Official Publication No. 8514) with Diversified Infrastructure Services, Inc., in the amount of $303,990.05, for a new contract total of $607,980.10, for construction change orders to complete the cleaning of the large diameter sanitary sewer system.

  5. 6 Contract amendment with Meyer Contracting, Inc. for the Hennepin/Lyndale Corridor Reconstruction Project (Franklin Ave W to Dunwoody Blvd) (2018-01130)

    Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-40527 with Meyer Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $159,559.81, for a total amount not to exceed $10,386,814.06, for additional work performed as part of the Hennepin/Lyndale Corridor Reconstruction Project (Franklin Ave W to Dunwoody Blvd) (CPV027).

  6. 7 Contract amendment with Minneapolis Refuse, Inc. (MRI) for the collection of refuse, recycling, yard waste, and organics (2018-01131)

    Authorizing an extension of Contract No. C-39564 with Minneapolis Refuse, Inc. (MRI) for three additional years and one day, through Aug 31, 2023, for the collection of garbage, recycling, problem materials, large items, mattresses, yard waste, and source separated organics.

  7. 8 Contract amendment with Meyer Contracting, Inc. for the E River Rd Rail Crossings Improvements Project (2018-01132)

    Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-43705 with Meyer Contracting Inc., in the amount of $56,565.40, for a total amount not to exceed $552,110.40, for additional investigative, permitting, and construction services associated with the E River Rd Rail Crossings Improvements Project.

  8. 9 Request for Proposals for processing and disposal of yard waste and organics (2018-01141)

    Authorizing issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the processing and disposal of yard waste, organics, fall bunched and swept leaves, and standard street sweepings.

  9. 10 Non-Governmental Tax Exempt Parcel Street Light Operation Fee Assessment: Designation and setting public hearing (2018-01143)

    Adopting report designating the citywide street light operation fee assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Nov 7, 2018, to consider the assessments.

  10. 11 Non-Governmental Tax Exempt Parcel Street Maintenance Assessment: Designation and setting public hearing (2018-01144)

    Adopting report designating the citywide street maintenance assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Nov 7, 2018, to consider the assessments.

  11. 12 Regulation on the disposal of fats, oil, and grease ordinance (2018-01016)

    Setting a public hearing for Oct 9, 2018, to consider an ordinance amending Title 19 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Water, Sewers and Sewage Disposal, amending regulations to modernize, update, and consolidate sewer regulations, including new regulations on disposal of fats, oil, and grease:

    1. Chapter 505 In General
    2. Chapter 511 Sewers and Sewage Disposal.
  12. 13 Consolidating sanitary sewer requirements ordinance (2018-01017)

    1. Setting a public hearing for Oct 9, 2018, to consider an ordinance amending Title 1, Chapter 2 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to General Provisions: Administrative Enforcement and Hearing Process, amending provisions for the administrative enforcement process for sewage disposal.

    2. Setting a public hearing for Oct 9, 2018, to consider an ordinance amending Title 3 by repealing Chapter 56 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Air Pollution and Environmental Protection: Prohibited Discharges to Sanitary or Combined Sewer, repealing regulations for rainleader disconnect and time extension permit language to be incorporated in Title 19, Chapter 511.

  13. 14 Water and sewer service line repair assessments: Setting public hearing (2018-01145)

    Setting a public hearing for Oct 23, 2018, to consider the assessment of charges for water and sewer service line repairs that remain unpaid.

  14. 15 Grant application to Metropolitan Council for rehabilitation of private sewer laterals and connections (2018-01147)

    Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to Metropolitan Council Environmental Services, through the Inflow and Infiltration Demonstration Project Grant Program, in an amount up to $500,000, for the rehabilitation of private sewer laterals and sewer connections. 

  15. 16 Bid for Pump Station No. 7 Standby Power-Outdoor Construction Project (2018-01133)

    Accepting the low bid of AE2S Construction, LLC, doing business as EIM, submitted on Official Publication No. 8616, in the amount of $619,000, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the Pump Station No. 7 Standby Power-Outdoor Construction Project for the Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
