Background Analysis
Information Technology (“IT”) and 311 request an extension of the City’s Contract with SeeClickFix for providing a resident reporting tool (“SeeClickFix Software”). SeeClickFix Software is the primary tool residents utilize to report non-emergency issues. The Software integrates directly into the City’s 311 Lagan system. The 311 Lagan system provides residents the ability to connect with the City via multiple avenues, including mobile applications. It also enables a singular place to report incidents and receive information about the City. The stability of the SeeClickFix Software is vital to 311 agents in responding to the City’s constituents in a timely and accurate manner.
Minneapolis residents have reported approximately 120,000 non-emergency issues since Contract inception by using the SeeClickFix designed Android and iPhone applications, the SeeClickFix website, and SeeClickFix web portal report forms. SeeClickFix Software also provides City staff with full access to the SeeClickFix issue request management system, which facilitates issue management, coordinated response, and data reports.
IT and 311 therefore are requesting a four (4) year extension of the current Contract, C-42666, and an increase of $71,712.62 for a new not-to-exceed total of $153,723.08.
