Background Analysis
A sole bid was received for Event 1088 for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and services from Rosedale Chevrolet, LLC for $200,000, over a two (2) year term to furnish and deliver OEM parts and services that are not available through aftermarket vendors for numerous GM vehicles. The bid offers a two (2) year term with two (2) additional one (1)-year periods agreeable by both parties, all in accordance with City specifications. This award was determined by Hourly Labor Rate and Transportation Fee.
This contract enables Fleet Services to maintain an inventory of OEM parts and to provide service to vehicles timely to allow for limited down time for city owned fleet vehicles.
Public Works Fleet Services Division is requesting an increase of $200,000 to contract COM0002578 for a total amount not to exceed $300,000. This contract amendment reflects additional parts and services needed to sustain Fleet through the contract expiration of 6/30/2024.
Funding is available in the budget for the costs associated with this amendment.
