Background Analysis
The City established Contract C-37587 with Verint Americas, Inc. to provide support, maintenance, and hosting services for the 311 Lagan system. This amendment is a request to increase the contract by $344,716 for a new not-to-exceed total of $5,131,676. This contract is set to expire on November 30, 2026.
The system provides 311 customers the ability to connect with the City via multiple avenues, including mobile applications, and it enables a singular place to report incidents and receive information about the City. The Lagan system plays a critical role in supporting many departments across the enterprise, with approximately 300 employees relying on the system to perform the requested work. Adoption of the 311 system across the enterprise has increased. More and more City personnel rely upon the 311 system to do their job, necessitating an increase in its licensing costs through the term of the contract.
